The design work is a close collaboration with the people who run and working in the ski resort.
Pullinki/Svansteinis a ski resort run by Ingemar Backman, Johan Olofsson and Jacob Söderqvist three former professional snowboards with legend status and their strong team behind them. It is a ski resort of a different kind. The spirit is all about riding the woods, experiencing the north and its beautiful nature. It is for real ski- and snowboard heads, as well as for families as it has a very strong focus on families orientated.The main building features a big space for kids of all ages to hangout with and with out their parents. After the ski day is over, officially at 4p.m., often the ski resort organizes sledge runs for those who didn't get enough... people usually meet for Sauna and Palju in the spa area and let evening falling under the northern light skies. For sleeping there is the hostel with in the ski-resort and the camping area, yes people in the north camp in winter as well.
Aboutthe Design > We generally bounces ideas back and forth until we get it right. The whole idea is creative design, which reflects the spirit of a true unique place, which some call the black pearl of the north. So to translate this friendly-ness,funky-ness ...the whole vibe of a place, which got has it all from the 60s to 90s, was a challenge and bunch of great fun!
